London Collection:Men's Day 1

Yesterday was the first day of the three day London Collection' Men's festivities, featuring designers such as Burberry, Paul Smith, Moschino and DKNY. So yeah I guess you could says its pretty up there! To be honest from the minute that I stepped off the bus I was petrified at the idea of being among some of the most talented, fashionable people in the business. However like everything it's always better and less petrifying than you imagine it to be, on arrival at 9am (ew!) I was first instructed to help on the door to the backstage entrance, and I was baisically responsible for keeping everybody who was not on the list out out of the area. They obviously didn't know that I hate saying no and confrontation when they assigned me the job! In the end i hope I didn't let too many  in. Then it was down into the main space where the Astrid Andersen show was being set up, may I just say that the woman did amazing! With original designs in the most beautiful vibrant colours ever, it was a refreshing collection to see. With takes on summer fashion such as the kimono as well as embracing sportswear into her designs they are extremely versatile. I'm still lost for words as the show was this incredible, with heavy bass, beautiful models and a celebrity guest list it definetley made for an eventful day. And this was all before noon! One day to go now and with four shows I'm pretty sure it's going to be a tough day, although the hope of after party's and an impressive experience for my CV I'm more than ready! Happy Tuesday.x

Eye for an eye- Intern outfit

Dress-Choies                                     Bag-Ebay                                          Coat-Missguided
Converse-Office
Now whilst some of you may be shocked at my fashion mistake of wearing this dress more than once and planning to blog it also, but I feel that it's too beautiful not to be worn on one than more occasion. And with the previous attempt going up in flames as a result of bad weather conditions, when I saw that the sun was shining I decided I wanted a comfortable lightweight dress. And when this Gorgeous bag arrived on the same morning I knew that it was meant to be! I'm still shocked at how well this ebay bag photographs and I'm so glad that it represents what it really is like. The bag is perfect for summer because of the bright neon pink as well as the fun lips design. You also have the option of wedding it as a body bag like I have or simply using it as a clutch. I absolutely love the dress because of the thin material making it great for the warmer days, as well as the high neck which I'm not used to but I feel so chic when I gave this on! To finish it off I paired it with my leather converse and my new favourite Missguided drench coat (is that what they call this?) so this what the outfit that I chose to wear for my third day of interning. Simply because the office was pretty chilled and i'd already made the mistake of showing up in heels. I'm so glad because this was the day that I was delivering samples and invitations from 1 in the afternoon until 9. Of course I had moments where I was tired and I've got the blisters to show for it! But after a little pep talk I was grateful got the opportunity to visit places such as Vogue House, the Four Seasons and deliver an invitation to Nick Grimshaw! Today is the start of LMC which is from 15-17th so that's why this post is coming up so early as I'm on my way to Vitoria house at the minute, and then it's onto work at RI after! So expect a lot of pictures and posts In the upcoming days.    Speak soon happy Sunday.x

Mr Sun

Top-Missguided
Shorts-Bohoo
Skaters-Asos
Clutch-Zara

So over here in the UK the weather has been better than we ever could have imagined, the sun has been making an appearance daily and I for one couldn't be happier. Make that most of the time, I regret to tell you that this week at times I was wiling for it to rain. Simply because me and sweat are not buddies! So sun means causal for me so this Missguided stroppy top was perfect, and because of the chifon is so lightweight I had a surprisingly comfortable day. Underneath I decided to sporty new boohoo shorts, they are the most adorable peach colour and with the petal like design I already non that they're going to be worn to death this summer. They're a lovely thin material and it's great that they are so comfortable because I rarely have a pair of shorts that are the correct fit as well as being a pair that I actually like. And at £15 I found it difficult say no(As always!) I paired the outfit with my asos leopard skaters and my favourite Zara clutch that has unfortunately broken. So for the whole day I was holding it together, whilst  crying over my beloved clutch. It's a bit of a mix match but ever since I started blogging I'm getting pretty brave org my outfits. So I spent some of the day at Tower Bridge as it was such a lovely day, with happy people everywhere sun and laughter it made me thankful for the current luck that we're having in the weather department.                         Speak soon, Happy Friday.x

The work outfit

I may moan about working on retail only part time I assure you, 90% of the time but the best thing is bing able to wear what you like. Within reason or course! While not all companies operate like this River Island continues to allow uniform allowances that are very popular with the staff. Basically as long as you dressed on style and appropriately you'll be allowed to go about your day, I usually opt for comfort as I'm on my feet and running around all day similar to today. The only rule is that all of the clothing must be from River Island, but with RI's impressive stock at the minute it's never a problem finding something you like. I'm currently on my way to do some overtime now so excuse my foul mood if it begins to show itself. As the weather right now is ridiculously unpredictable with heat that you cannot imagine and then predicted showers for today. My best bet is to of course dress comfortably and have either your top or bottom that would be suitable if a heat wave decided to present itself. The blazer is from Missguided and it was something that was worn as soon as it arrived (which was just yesterday might I add!) I received compliments everywhere I went, i think it's because it looks so much more expensive than it was at £25 and with it being so lightweight it's perfect for the current strange weather conditions that we Brits are currently experiencing. Cami tops are so simple and they're still my favourite kind of top as they are so versatile and like this cute little number there's so many designs and colours to chose from! I think it took me about 20 minutes to decide on this one. I finished the outfit with my favourite River Island mom jeans, now I know everyone's drooling over TOPSHOP jeans but I don't really see any difference between them and the ones that I currently own. I don't know maybe it's because we're meant to be enemies that I'm all in favour of RI! Happy Monday.x.                                                                                                      Jeans-RiverIsland                                                                                                                   Cami Top-RiverIsland                                                                                                              Hat-Asos                                                            Ring-New Look                                                                                                            Leather Converse-Office

Mono&New Hair!

Thursday was surprisingly pleasant which is when these photos were taken, however as expected I wasn't exactly dressed for the sunshine. Lately I've really been trying to make the most of my wardrobe, that's why in this post my outfit are all things that I have that I don't wear enough! The Missguided trousers for example have been worn twice in the whole time that I've worn them, so I thought they deserved a day out. I spire them with my la Moda shoes which I keep meaning to purchase in the white pair because I love them so much! I have days when I think they're the not comfortable shoes ever, and then others when I'm ready to break down in tears(yesterday was one of these days) I started to tire of my limited jacket collection, and as leather jackets are perfect for the majority of occasions so I dug out this Missguided leather jacket with contrast khaki arms. Completed he outfit with a simple black chifon vest that I picked up at H&M for only £9.99! Oh and how can I forget my new hair, I know it's a bit of a change(wait who am I kidding it's literally a transformation) that sometimes I look and the mirror and barely reconside the girl staring back at me. Last thing for Today, so yesterday was my first day interning at a PR firm( I don't know what the rules are with naming companies so I won't do it!) it's safe to say I was a nervous reck and being 15 minutes late was not the best start! Honestly I've never felt more determined yet exhausted, the typical tasks were to start like stuffing endless envelopes and then silly me decided to race to the finish, and then be stumped with the task of hand delivering the most important ones! On the up side I did see Troy the Magician in Soho and I can confirm he is just as gorgeous in real life! It took me about 3 hours to post three letters and that is no exaggeration, this independence thing is such a scary journey. Flower Power-Southend

Yesterday I somehow found myself on the way to Southend in the early hours, this I was confused and excited about. I'm always so envious when I hear about people's weekend trips to the seaside because I'm always working! I was delighted when it was a fairly short journey as I actually confused it with Hastings, in case you didn't know I think there's about 200 miles between the two but what do I know? Anywhere we got there about 11:30 and being a little too early for lunch a trip to the local shopping centre and high street was on the cards. I was hoping to find some amazing clothes that have already sold out In the London stores, however this was not the outcome.
There was the cutest sweetshop with more than enough tempting treats to make any girl cheat her diet!
There's also a large amount of bakery's and coffee shops on the high street, which are perfect for a quick snack if you're in the area.
Some of you might remember the legendary "Adventure Island" which is located directly next to the beach, as a child most sunny days were spent at this park and I was still impressed with the rides that they have! With rollercoasters, bumper cars, water rides and more delicious food stalls than you can count it really did make for a lovely day. Although as you can tell from the photos the weather was less than on our side, typical as ever though as soon as we left the sun miraculously made an appearance!
I only managed to get a few photos of my outfit as I was so caught up In my surroundings, these floral trousers make me feel so feminine every time I wear them but not so much that I don't feel like me because the main colour of them is black! They're from River Island a while back a and were around £30, however being my clumsy self I actually ripped them all down the side and i was lucky enough to have a nan that was able to temporarily repair them. So I don't think I'll be able to wear them for much longer, with cotton trousers I can just recommend being extra careful. I paired it with my favourite denim jacket(well my dads) and the La Moda shoes that I haven't been able to take off. I don't mean they're stuck btw they just seen to go with every outfit! Happy Wednesday.x

Skorty weather we're having

Shirt-TOPSHOP.
Skort- Ark Clothing.
Hat-Asos.
Necklace-River Island.
Shoes-La Moda
Since the sun decided to make a suprise appearance this fine afternoon, I thought it was the pefect opportunity to wear my gingham Skort and also to take some pictures where I wouldn't come away looking like a drowned rat! It's safe to say as soon as I saw the first glimpse of sunshine my mind went straight to this georgeous Skort from Ark. I actually came across them through Instagram and when I visited their website I was automatically drawn to this Skort, and being £12.99 I ordered it on the spot! I made the decision to pair it with my new asos hat to add a pop of color to the outfit and my favourite topshop shirt which I got a while back, however I saw it the other day in their oxford street store so it must be doing well. I'm always late on trends(even though I try not to be) so this is actually my first Skort, don't be too shocked! However I love the combo because you don't have to be conscious of the wind which would usually result in an undie flash to an unexpected audience, so it definetley gets a thumbs up from me! I've been going into a frenzy lately as the weathers been slowly improving, giving all of us a glimmer of hope that summer will soon be upon us and we'll be able to scrap the jackets and chuck on our favourite summer outfits. And let's just say I'm not the most sensible buyer I mean I just bought a bomber jacket! In June? Yeah I know but it was cute and on sale, so if you see a girl sweating walking down the road in a bomber jacket it's probably me! Surely I'll lean one day? Actually scrap that I doubt it. Last thing I can't express how exited I am to get my hair "did" tomorrow it's been way too long so expect a blog post. Either amazingly happy or miserable and heading straight to the weave shop for some replacement hair. Happy Monday.x
