Deep Thought Day

Even though I am only 17 years old it seems that unanswerable questions and extensive pressure are flying all around me, and it's becoming seemingly difficult to avoid these life size boulders and save myself an almighty bang to the head and with my clumsy reputation probably an almighty Knockout .(See what I did there?) So I've made the decision to take charge of my life, and focus on where I want to go and what I want to do not with my life but just for right now. Whilst we've been made to sit back and listen to endless school theories about career paths and out futures, this is something that we well I know I have never been told. The pressure today from unemployment rates to University Fees is one big ball of confusion in my mind, and whilst this is one of the most important decisions we are ever likely to make the guidance personally is just not there. Now I hope I'm not the only person feeling this way, so If you're going through a similar experience feel free to take this journey with me (Oh yeah I've just turned all hippie didn't I mention it? Haha)
First of all forget about the future completely erase that word from your mind even if it's just for the day, focusing on right now is what's important because what's the point in considering the future when you're not making the most of the opportunities that are available now that might allow you to get to where you want to be. Now making this list, It doesn't have to be long, amazingly written or even understandable by others as long as you know what it means. What I want from this year? Oh wow what a question, but if like me you're just about to come of out of education it can simply be to come away with a good grade and some self belief. Little things, big things unusual things they're all welcome, now whilst this may not work for some I feel that goals really do motivate me because the feeling of achievement is something close to sheer ecstasy. Done? Don't feel embarrassed, my list consisted of things like "To do something daring" and "Gain some experience in the fashion industry" Shoulders feel lighter? No mine either, well maybe a drop then it's best to let your feelings out sometimes even if it begins with knowing within yourself who you are and what you want to achieve. So how are you going to do these things? This part is not vital as many of us (Like me) don't have the slightest ideas, but with the education based goals you could set up a weekly timetable, encourage study groups, take up tutoring small changes really can make a big difference and all we're doing here is seeking out possible strategies that will allow to feel completely content with the years progress when the clock strikes 12 and 2015 begins (Woah there Sian slow down partner) All I can recommend is to carry on making the most of your days, do somthing crazy (Within reason) Go out on a whim and declare your love for someone (I'd love to know the details) As I'm growing up as are many of you goals, and lessons begin to come clear and what I've discovered is there is no wrong was to go about life, because we're all different whilst some strive to have a big family others reach for fame. But if you're content with your lifestyle and yourself then you're doing it right. Feel free to comment I'd love to know about your progress!
Happy Thursday.x
