So recently I had the chance to visit the inlovewithfashion Blogger event on Great Portland Street. The fashion brand is popular is popular with celebs such as Katy Perry, Ferne McCann and Michelle Keegan, their fan base is rapidly growing and I now know why! The event featured some of their key pieces such as the "palazzo pant" that is shown below that you'll be seeing on me in a matter of weeks. As well as tempting boxes of Krispy Kremes and an impressive range of refreshments, the amazing Sarah Ashcroft or as she is more commonly known "That Pommie Girl" gave an inspiring speech about her journey which is pretty impressive seeing as she has been blogging for only 6 months! (I know right I feel like an amateur) the staff were incredibly friendly and I happened to meet some great people. I feel like something really clicked for me when this happened, what I mean by this is that recently I made the decision to approach some fashion retailers in an attempt to generate some awareness of myself as well as the blog. So on a whim I contacted inlovewithfashion a brand which I was familiar with by reputation, I received an almost immediate response(which is an achievement in itself) inviting me to a bloggers event run by the Love Fashion Academy. Small things like this show that every day and every action can change your life, and things that you didn't expect May do. I mean if you said to me three months no wait three weeks ago that I would be at the same event as "That Pommie Girl" and walking away with an adorable goodie bag (I have not stopped bragging!) I would have laughed for about 2 hours and told you to leave it out, so for any of you guys out there either with a blog or without I say go for it because there's really nothing to lose and if you don't enjoy it (highly doubtful) then at least you tried right, so what's really stopping you?x
